Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park is located in northern Tanzania, nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. It covers an area of approximately 330 square kilometers (127 square miles).

The park is named after Lake Manyara, a shallow alkaline lake that dominates much of its eastern border. Lake Manyara National Park is renowned for its diverse ecosystems, including groundwater forests, acacia woodlands, grassy plains, and swampy areas. The park is situated between the arid lands of the Maasai Steppe to the east and the lush forests of the Ngorongoro Highlands to the west.
