Ruaha National Park

Day 1: Arrival in Ruaha

• Arrive at Ruaha National Park either by air from Dar es Salaam or by road from Iringa (if coming from other parts of Tanzania).
• Check into your chosen accommodation within or near the park.
• Enjoy a late afternoon game drive in the park, exploring the diverse habitats and searching for wildlife.
• Return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2-3: Full Days in Ruaha

• Wake up early for a morning game drive when animals are most active.
• Return to the lodge or camp for breakfast.
• Spend the day exploring different areas of Ruaha National Park, with both morning and afternoon game drives.
• Enjoy packed lunches during your game drives or return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
• Take advantage of the opportunity to spot a wide range of wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and more.
• In between game drives, you can also opt for guided nature walks or cultural visits to nearby communities (if available).
• Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Departure from Ruaha

• Depending on your travel arrangements, you may have time for one final morning game drive.
• After breakfast, check out from your lodge or camp.
• Depart from Ruaha National Park, either by road or air, to continue your journey to your next destination in Tanzania or back home.

• Pack appropriate clothing for safaris, including neutral-colored clothing, a hat, sunscreen, sturdy shoes, and insect repellent.
