Terms and Conditions: Safari Package

Booking and Payment:

  • A deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. The remaining balance is due 60 days before the start of the safari.
  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or PayPal. All transaction fees are the responsibility of the client.
  • Cancellations made more than 60 days before the start of the safari will incur a 10% cancellation fee. Cancellations made between 30-60 days will incur a 50% cancellation fee. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made less than 30 days before the start of the safari.

Itinerary and Inclusions:

  • The safari itinerary is subject to change based on weather conditions, park regulations, and other factors beyond our control.
  • The package includes accommodations, meals, park fees, transportation, and services of a professional safari guide. Additional activities, gratuities, and personal expenses are not included unless otherwise stated.

Health and Safety:

  • Participants are responsible for ensuring they are in good health and fit to participate in the safari activities.
  • Participants must have comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, trip cancellation, and evacuation in case of emergencies.
  • The tour operator reserves the right to refuse participation to any individual who poses a safety risk to themselves or others.

Responsibilities and Liabilities:

  • The tour operator is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage incurred during the safari, including but not limited to accidents, illnesses, or theft.
  • Participants are responsible for their personal belongings and valuables throughout the safari.
  • The tour operator reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary or accommodations if necessary, and will endeavor to provide suitable alternatives.

Travel Documentation:

  • Participants are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, and any necessary vaccinations required for travel to Tanzania.
  • The tour operator will provide assistance with visa applications and other travel documentation upon request.

Code of Conduct:

  • Participants are expected to adhere to local customs, laws, and regulations throughout the safari.
  • Participants must respect wildlife, natural habitats, and local communities, and refrain from any behavior that may disturb or harm them.

Dispute Resolution:

  • Any disputes arising from the safari package will be resolved through negotiation, mediation, or arbitration in accordance with Tanzanian law.
  • Participants agree to waive any claims against the tour operator for damages or losses arising from disputes related to the safari package.

Changes and Amendments:

  • Changes or amendments to the booking may be subject to additional fees or penalties, depending on the nature of the change and the timing.
  • The tour operator reserves the right to modify the itinerary or accommodations due to unforeseen circumstances, and will inform participants of any changes as soon as possible.

Force Majeure:

  • The tour operator is not liable for any delays, cancellations, or changes to the safari itinerary caused by force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, or acts of terrorism.

Miscellaneous:

  • These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the participant and the tour operator, superseding any previous agreements or understandings.
  • By booking the safari package, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
