The Spice Tour

Location

Thanks to this 3-hour guided walk through a farm in the village of Kijichi, you will discover with pleasure the variety of Zanzibar spices and the merits of the reputation of the island. Tropical fruits, medicinal plants, fresh spices... Here all your senses are awakened: it is not only a question of seeing and smelling, it is also the opportunity to scrape, crush and above all taste these spices: cloves, cinnamon , cardamom, ginger root, vanilla, nutmeg or even mangosteen...

Note that many of these spices have medicinal properties and are used by the local population as a cure. You can buy each of these spices and thus rediscover the flavors of the island when you return home. A lunch prepared with spices will be served to you on site.
